Warpage (bending)
The phenomenon that the stamped parts appear curved is called warpage (bend). The reason analysis and debugging methods are as follows;
- Due to the anisotropy of the material and the unleveling of the coil. It can be pressed tightly with unloading board and other materials before punching. For thicker sheets, the cutting effect of oblique blade punching with a shear stroke of 1/4 to 1/3 of the thickness of the board is good;
- If the design of the shear angle is too large or the lap width is too small, the above defects will occur. Adjust the cutting angle and appropriately increase the width of the lap, then it can be solved;
- When there is no push rod pressing pad on the structure of the stamping part, it needs to be corrected after punching and blanking;
2. Distortion
The phenomenon that the stamping parts are twisted is called twisting. The reason analysis and debugging methods are as follows;
- 1. When the strip material is cut, the stamping parts will inevitably be twisted, and the blanking die of the ejector rod and the discharge plate can be used;
- 2. Using the above blanking die, if the cutting angle of the oblique blade is too large, distortion will also occur. The solution is to replace the press with a larger tonnage while reducing the cutting angle;
- 3. If the distortion is caused by uneven clearance, the cutting edge needs to be corrected;
- 4. Distortion will also occur when the back corner of the die is not uniformly blanked, and the shear section can be observed and the back angle can be corrected;
